I've found the Jesus Prayer helps keep me focussed.
Have you got the Red Prayer Book from the Antiochians? It has many prayers and services and is pocket-sized and relatively inexpensive. The Orthodox military Bible has many resources as well.
KatherineAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9027438145843075022.post-91534643301322591682010-08-24T03:06:46.291-04:002010-08-24T03:06:46.291-04:00Alexandra,

There is a heavy focus on realizing the reality of worship, just "going through the movements" becomes harder and harder the more you understand and the more you intersperse it into your life.

It sounds like you're getting more into orthopraxis, I'll be interested in seeing where everything goes. :-)Alexandranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9027438145843075022.post-42513439041583413512010-08-22T22:09:27.245-04:002010-08-22T22:09:27.245-04:00Thanks...I guess I've got some Protestant term...Thanks...I guess I've got some Protestant termanology sneaking in...:)Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18023716101668315942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9027438145843075022.post-91897928639535902172010-08-22T20:35:25.835-04:002010-08-22T20:35:25.835-04:00Icons are usually on an analogion in the nave (whe...Icons are usually on an analogion in the nave (where the laity stand or sit).
